The new software from Infor Public Sector will be used to improve the efficiency of processes associated with permitting and fees assessment for the utility. With this implementation Infor Public Sector is expanding its relationship with the Municipality of Anchorage. The Alaska Development Services Department responsible for assisting citizens with construction projects also uses Hansen 8 - Permitting as well as Licensing Inspection Cashiering and Code Enforcement to streamline processes and enhance citizen service and communication.Moving to a new Web-based permitting system reduced the number of hours spent manually creating tracking and distributing permits enabling staff to focus on providing excellent customer service. The new system from Infor also streamlines the process of implementing security patches and updates to other software applications by removing the need to rework custom codes that may be affected through updates.
