Scott Hastings joins the private sector focusing on strategic planning and new business venture consulting following a 23-year federal career. His government services include roles as chief information officer (CIO) for the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) U.S. Visitor and Immigrant Status Indicator Technology (US-VISIT) Program Management Office, and CIO of the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Additionally, Hastings served as CIO of the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) where he had a key role in the integration of former INS into DHS, renamed Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
