Holding more than 30 years' experience in public service and industry leadership roles, Balutis currently serves as a distinguished fellow and director in the Business Solutions Group, Cisco's global consulting arm. Earlier in his career, he held positions including president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Government Strategies at INPUT, head of the Industry Advisory Council (IAC)/American Council for Technology (ACT), founding member of the Federal Chief Information Officers (CIO) Council and the Department of Commerce's first CIO. A five-time Federal Computer Week Federal 100 Award winner, Balutis is a member of both the Government Computer News and Federal Computer Week halls of fame, as well as a fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration.
