Biography:

Kimberly Nelson is the director of e-Government and Health and Human Services, U.S. Public Sector, at Microsoft, working with government chief information officers (CIOs)and other leaders to establish long-term strategies and vision for more efficient and cost-effective government solutions.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Nelson served as CIO for the Environmental Protection Agency and CIO for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Nelson was also involved in the Executive Committee of the CIO Council and was co-chairwoman of its Architecture and Infrastructure Committee.
