Clay Goldwein

Clay Goldwein leads the U.S. Department of Homeland Security account at CGI Federal, a wholly-owned U.S. operating subsidiary of CGI, Inc.
Mr. Goldwein has been responsible for the strategy and execution of DHS projects since 2011. Throughout his career, Mr. Goldwein has been a leader in IT modernization, cloud, and cybersecurity. His notable accomplishments include standing up the CGI federal cloud under the U.S. General Services Administration’s Infrastructure as a Service Blanket Purchase Agreement, and achieving one of the first Authority To Operate designations by the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). He was also responsible for achieving an aggressive two-year schedule implementing a Credential Management solution at 26 Federal agencies under the DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program.
With almost 25 years of dedicated experience at CGI, Mr. Goldwein is recognized for his technical and management leadership – both internally and externally. His prior work spans a range of Federal customers (Environmental and Health Care) across a breath of technical areas.
Mr. Goldwein has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Duke University. He is a fellow of the American Council for Technology – Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) Partners Program and holds two United States patents for an environmental permit web portal.
