The General Services Administration (GSA) announced today that Reynold Schweickhardt will step into the role of senior technology advisor at the agency, and will help with GSA’s technology transformation portfolio.
Schweickhardt brings significant experience to the role. Prior to accepting the role with GSA, he served as director of technology policy within the House of Representatives, “providing oversight on all House IT programs and leading many cross-organizational initiatives,” GSA said. Schweickhardt also served as CIO and CTO at the Government Printing Office for eight years.
Schweickhardt “will provide … strategic guidance on the agency’s expanding technology transformation portfolio,” according to the agency’s press release.
GSA also announced that Julie Dunne will join GSA Administrator Emily Murphy’s staff as senior advisor. Dunne, an acquisition policy attorney, will “provide strategic counsel to Administrator Emily Murphy on acquisition policies and legislation,” the agency stated.
