The General Services Administration released a draft catalog of identity and credential access management (ICAM) solutions on August 26, as part of the Office of Management and Budget’s (OMB’s) updated ICAM policy for agencies.
The draft catalog highlights solutions across both IT Schedule 70 and Schedule 84, offering both information security and physical security solutions. The catalog maps solutions to the ICAM services framework from OMB’s policy, helping agencies make decisions regarding what areas they need to acquire new tools.
“Agencies can leverage these solutions now to begin meeting the requirements of the OMB ICAM policy,” the catalog states.
The catalog also breaks down the offerings to the special item number (SIN) level, and includes related offerings on the SIN that can help with ICAM. In total, GSA highlights 11 SINs with ICAM offerings, as well as offerings outside of its schedules like login.gov, USAccess, and max.gov.
In its questions to the public, GSA is looking to see how helpful respondents think the catalog is for identifying ICAM products and solutions, the most helpful elements, and the least helpful elements. When feedback is collected and edits are finalized, the catalog will be posted on IDManagement.gov.
