House and Senate negotiators have agreed to a bipartisan compromise deal to ensure funding for the Federal government through the end of Fiscal Year 2020, according to reports from multiple media outlets today.
While details of the compromise agreement have not yet been released, a vote on the deal could come in the House as soon as next Tuesday, said House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md.
The legislation – if it clears the House and Senate and wins President Trump’s signature – would avert a government shutdown on Dec. 20. It would also provide clarity on final funding figures for important IT line items like the Technology Modernization Fund.
