BMC Debuts Cloud-Based Security Service
BMC on Wednesday introduced BMC SecOps Response Service, a cloud-based solution that eliminates security risks and reduces companies’ overall attack surface across multicloud environments. The solution enables security teams to organize their vulnerability management strategies for faster remediation and reduced risk with policies that are flexible and scalable. The solution also provides visibility into planned actions, predictive service level agreements (SLAs), and burndown views, which enables them to actively control the security levels of an organization. The SecOps Response Service also prioritizes vulnerabilities based on policy, severity, and impact.
Next-Gen Intel Xeon Processor Set for Summer
Intel announced Thursday that this summer, it will unveil the next-generation Intel Xeon processor family (code-named “Skylake”), which represents the biggest set of data center platform advancements in this decade. To reflect the magnitude of the innovations Intel is bringing to market with this platform, it will rename the family the Intel Xeon Processor Scalable family. The Scalable family provides the foundation for the next generation of cloud infrastructure to fuel applications such as analytics, artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, high-performance computing. and network transformation.
