Intel Touts Building Management Platform

Intel announced that its Building Management Platform will help small and medium-sized buildings become connected. The platform allows professionals to manage security through systems and sensors, which can transfer data to the cloud.

Department of Energy Awards Contract to Tetra Tech

The Department of Energy (DOE) signed a $400 million contract with Tetra Tech, an engineering services provider. Over the course of the seven-year contract, Tetra Tech will work with Sealaska Technical Services to design and build DOE’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). The NNSA’s Office of Nuclear Smuggling Detection and Deterrence (NSDD) will oversee the contract.

Cyberspace Solutions Lands $51 Million Pact With ICSCC

Cyberspace Solutions was awarded a five-year, $51,537,221 task order to provide time and materials that will support the Intelligence Community Security Coordination Center (ICSCC) in the Division of Cyber and Enterprise Operations. This order was given through the Enhanced Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise (E-SITE) multiple-award contract. The target completion date is May 31, 2021.

RAND Corp. Gets DHS Contract

The Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) awarded the­­­­­­­­ RAND Corporation $494.7 million to operate the Homeland Security Operational Analysis Center (HSOAC). This Federally funded research center will focus on acquisition studies, homeland security threat and opportunity studies, organizational studies, regulatory doctrine and policy studies, operational studies, research and development studies, and innovation and technology acceleration. The contract was signed on an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) basis.
