Kaspersky Federal Ban Upheld by Appeals Court

The United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit has affirmed a previous decision by a Federal district court that leaves in place a Federal government ban on using products provided by Moscow-based cybersecurity firm Kaspersky Labs. “Regardless of whether we decide to pursue further legal action in response to today’s decision from the DC Circuit Court, we’ll remain committed to providing the best cybersecurity solutions for our customers globally and saving the world from cyberthreats,” said Eugene Kaspersky, CEO of Kaspersky Labs, in a statement on the company’s website.
