Senate Confirms Mary O’Brien for Air Force Cyber Role

The Senate voted unanimously on July 31 to confirm Mary O’Brien to the rank of Lieutenant General, as O’Brien steps into the role of the Air Force’s deputy chief of staff for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and cyber effects operations. O’Brien was nominated for the position in May.
