After cutting their social media teeth on Twitter, where they have an impressive 2.58 million followers, the CIA announced it will launch an Instagram account. “There are some people still around at the agency who really don’t know what that is and are against it in principle,” CIA director Gina Haspel said on April 18 at a National Security Forum at Auburn University. Haspel did not announce a specific date that the account will launch, but indicated it will happen sooner rather than later.
