VA Seeks Mobile App Development Information

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking information on supply, industry practices, and input specific to a pharmacy benefits management Academic Detailing Service (ADS) mobile application, according to a request for information (RFI) released today. The VA’s Academic Detailing Service is “seeking the development, implementation and maintenance of a mobile application that will allow patients and providers to view ADS educational materials on all smartphone and tablet platforms.” This RFI is the first step into seeking information from vendors on their capabilities, but is not a direct solicitation for services. Responses to the RFI are due Jan. 29.
