Wallace to Serve as Senior Advisor in State Cyber Office

Ian Wallace has joined the State Department to serve as a senior advisor for the Office of the Coordinator for Cyber Issues (S/CCI). Wallace tweeted that his new role will focus on cyber capacity building. “I’m v (sic) excited to be joining such a great team and, esp. as an immigrant, to have this opportunity to serve my country,” Wallace said in the tweet. Previously, Wallace was a senior fellow in the Digital Innovation and Democracy Initiative at the German Marshall Fund.
