GSA Forum on FedRAMP and TTS/18F: September 13th, 2016

In addition to serving as GSA’s CIO, David Shive is the new Commissioner for GSA’s Technology Transformation Service (TTS) – that means he’s responsible for FedRAMP and 18F.  Co-located with the Cyber Security Brainstorm, on September 13th at the Newseum in Washington D.C., David and his GSA colleagues talked tough about the future for FedRAMP and TTS.  Attendees discussed:

FedRAMP Fast Forward:  What’s the vision for FedRAMP?  How does GSA plan to pivot the program to increase value and reduce cost in reaction to government and industry feedback?  How should stakeholders provide ongoing input and what tools can you use to accelerate government cloud acquisition?

TTS ABC:  TTS is all about building, buying, and deploying IT in government in new ways.  And, the build focuses on Minimum Viable Product.  TTS is about innovating through listening and partnership.  How will TTS work moving forward?  How will we measure success?  How should stakeholders provide ongoing input and what tools can you use to accelerate government cloud acquisition?
