Bill Sullivan

Bill Sullivan is the Vice President and General Manager for North American Public Sector at Informatica. In the position, he is responsible for all Informatica relationships with the federal government, including the Department of Defense, federal civilian agencies, homeland security, state and local governments, defense and security partners, and K-12 institutions. In this role, Bill is tasked with expanding INFA’s position in the U.S. public sector, a key growth industry for the company. Mr. Sullivan reports to Frank Fallon, Senior Vice President, North America.

During Bill’s two and a half year tenure with the company we have seen the Public Sector almost double in size, making it one of the most explosive and exciting growth areas for the company. His experience and unique leadership style combined with a relentless focus on execution has produced a string of victories across the Public Sector market. This in turn has engendered the support of the partner community and assures continued market share attainment for Informatica in a key growth vertical” said Fallon.

During his tenure at INFA the company has seen 12 States adopt its technology for the implementation of Healthcare Information Exchanges; the establishment of INFA as the data integration standard at a large government shipping agency; and adoption as the standard for various Federal health initiatives. Key Federal users of INFA technology include the US Postal Service, the IRS, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and a large Intelligence Community agency.

Sullivan has more than 20 years of experience in developing, selling and implementing enterprise-wide solutions to governments at all levels, both domestically and internationally. Prior to joining INFA he served as Sr, Vice President and General Manager for Savi Technology (a division of Lockheed Martin) with responsibility for the manufacture, marketing and sale of active RFID tags used in tracking US DOD shipments globally. Prior to this Sullivan was the Vice President NA State & Local for PeopleSoft, and Oracle following their acquisition, helping over 1500 government agencies transition from legacy systems to more modern applications that make it easier to track the work-flow across various departments and reduce the operational costs involved in manually tracking, and perhaps duplicating data using individual & disparate systems.

Sullivan is a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA and lives in Northern VA with his wife Dr Angela Santini, MD, an Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon in private practice, and their daughter.
