Daniel DeSimone

Former Special Agent, FBI

Daniel J. DeSimone is an honorably discharged and decorated veteran of the United States armed forces, having served both domestically and internationally in the military police ranks for nearly five years. Following his military service, Mr. DeSimone served faithfully for 23 years as an FBI Special Agent, holding various positions of increased responsibility in his six different field and headquarters assignments, including being the FBI’s Chief of Undercover & Sensitive Operations and Chief of the Domestic Security Alliance Council, the Bureau’s lead to the private sector. For his career in public service and his actions in his private life, Dan was awarded knighthood by Pope Benedict XVI in 2011. Today, Mr. DeSimone is the Senior Director of Investigative Resources at Thomson Reuters, where he serves as the company’s chief interface with law enforcement/government agencies across the United States as well as members of the corporate security ranks. Dan is member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Directors Association and the National Capital Region’s Government Business Executive Forum and is on the Board of Directors of the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund.
