David McLaughlin, founder and CEO of Blue River Information Technology, has successfully grown the company while maintaining his core principles of providing customers with high quality engineering, managed, and professional services, and technologies. Early on, David realized the potential of cloud, and developed solutions, expertise and services for this market, expanding from the company’s original focus on traditional IT infrastructures.
In addition to providing solutions that incorporate technology from the company’s vendors, David has partnered with a number of them, including with NetApp on the development of an integrated data management platform for hybrid cloud environments.
David’s strong technology and business background comes from having worked in technical, sales and business development positions with vendors such as EMC and Data General, as well as with vendor channel partners.
He lives with his family in Great Falls, Virginia, and when not exploring new technologies, enjoys running in the woods with his dog.
