David Noy
Veritas Products Organization
David Noy is Vice President of Product Management for the Veritas Products organization.
In this role, Noy is responsible for driving Product Management for the Vertias Software-defined Storage (SDS) and Appliances portfolios, as well as the Appliances Support, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain functions.
Noy joined Veritas from Dell EMC Isilon, where he was Vice President of Product Management and Marketing. In that role he led the Product Management team that develops and executes on product strategy and roadmap. Noy’s responsibilities included pricing, licensing, competitive analysis, market opportunity recognition, product and roadmap definition and positioning, as well as driving product requirements through delivery. He also led the Technical Marketing, Solutions Architects, and Business Development teams for the Dell EMC Isilon product line. These groups focused on the technical collateral, white papers, and sizing guides related to Emerging Technologies products as stand-alone products or in conjunction with third party vendors to form complete solutions.
Noy joined Dell EMC five years ago to lead the software product management team for the Isilon products. Before joining Dell EMC Noy was Director of Product Management at NetApp, where he was responsible for NetApp’s Big Data strategy and competitive insight teams. Prior to that, Noy was Director of Product Management for the Veritas Storage Foundation product line at Veritas/Symantec.
Noy holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, where he also completed his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Biology.
