Doug Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Texmark Chemicals, Inc., assumed the role in the 46 year old business in 2014. Since that time he has worked with the Texmark team to build upon the company’s long-standing commitment to safety, to diversify product lines, to better utilize technology, and to increase training and education opportunities.
Prior to his role at Texmark, Doug co-founded SmartGeoMetrics, a 3D imaging company, where he served as Vice President. Doug focused on non-profit education in museums and zoos, as well as teaching ESL, before entering business.
Doug has a bachelor of arts from Loyola University, New Orleans.
