Drew Schnabel is vice president of federal at Zscaler, and focuses on ensuring agencies can provide secure access for users regardless of device, location, or network. His previous positions include directing DoD sales at Riverbed Technology and managing the U.S. Army, SOCOM and CENTCOM accounts at NetApp. Drew is a committed leader working to ensure civilian and Defense Department agencies can take advantage of modern cloud technology, securely, to empower their teams, meet their missions and deliver exceptional citizen service.
Drew is responsible for bringing the company’s award-winning products to the federal government.
Zscaler enables organizations to fully embrace the cloud and modernize IT by leveraging Zero Trust to securely connect users to applications, regardless of device, location, or network.
Under Drew’s leadership, he has built the Federal organization from the ground up to include 30 sales managers dedicated to servicing Federal Civilian Agencies, DOD, Intelligence and the Federal Systems Integrator community. Drew works closely with his customers, channel and tech alliance partners, such as Crowdstrike, Okta, Microsoft, and AWS, to better defend government networks from adversaries – even during periods of remote work.
Drew has achieved several other notable accomplishments since his start at Zscaler. He launched Zscaler’s SkillBridge program, which provides 1-to-1 mentoring for transitioning service members. Drew has also been recognized recently by industry and has been a Fed 100 and MeriTalk Federal Firebrands Awardee, a finalist for the Fedscoop100 and has been named a Top 20 Cloud Exec to Watch by WashingtonExec.”
