Jose Padin

Jose M. Padin is Citrix CTO and Director of Sales Engineering. Jose is a technology in government thought leader. He engages with government customers at a strategic level to identify solutions to their top IT challenges, including security and compliance, digital transformation, and cloud migration. Jose combines 20 years of IT leadership with more than a decade of experience in the public sector, including the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian agencies, Federal System Integrators and state and local governments.

As CTO, Jose creates and communicates the Citrix technology vision for the public sector. He and his team of engineers help government organizations understand how current and upcoming Citrix technologies can help them fulfill their mission. As the face of Citrix in government, he is a featured speaker and panel member at numerous industry events.

During his 13 years with Citrix, Jose has held a number of leadership positions. Earlier in his career, he gained hands-on experience as an IT Manager and engineer.

Jose earned a Bachelor of Science degree in management information systems from Rochester Institute of Technology. He is based in the Washington, D.C., metro area.
