Kevin Charest leads the Department of Health and Services (DHHS) Cybersecurity program based in Washington, DC as the Chief Information Security Officer. He is directly responsible for the HHS Cybersecurity Technology project portfolio for the Department. DHHS is the United States government’s principal agency for protecting the health of all Americans and providing essential human health services, especially for those who are least able to help themselves. HHS represents almost a quarter of all federal outlays, and it administers more grant dollars than all other federal agencies combined.
Prior to joining the federal government Kevin served in a number of entrepreneurial and senior executive positions in the private sector where his innovation and leadership in technology applications were instrumental to the development of numerous products and services.
