Mark Busby
National Archives and Records Administration
Mark was recently appointed as the Chief Technology Officer for the National Archives and Records Administration. In his role, he is leading the Architecture & Technology Management Division, as well as having responsibility for the planning and design of all agency-wide hardware, software, database management systems, and emerging technologies.
Prior to joining NARA, Mark served as a Deputy Assistant Director at the Department of Justice where he served as the Program Manager for the Department’s Data Center Transformation Initiative. He has over 30 years of information systems management and scientific research experience.
Mark holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Mississippi State University and M.S and B.S. degrees in Mathematics from Mississippi State.
