Michael Geronimo

Michael Geronimo is a Senior Expert in cybersecurity at Maximus. He combines advanced cybersecurity engineering, security operations, and cyber intelligence expertise to create and implement cybersecurity solutions. At Maximus, Michael’s current responsibility is to enhance the Cybersecurity practice for TSS and offer advanced customizable solutions support to clients.

Prior to joining Maximus, Michael led the development of cybersecurity requirements and solutions for the Sev1Tech in support of Space Force, and other Department of Defense entities across SAP and NSA networks, as well as leading the CISA deployment and ATO of their own Zscaler instance and CISANet WAN. In addition to his work at Sev1Tech, Michael was the TSA EMOC Security Operations Manager for CSC/GDIT and lead the effort to bring tactical edge cloud computing to reality for Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Defense Enterprise Office Solution (DEOS).

Michael currently holds certifications Certified Information Security Manager, Information Technology Infrastructure Library, Network Professional, Security Professional, Zscaler ZIA and Zscaler ZPA. Michael graduated with a 4.0 in Information Technology with a focus on Cybersecurity, and was a member of four honors societies (Alpha Chi, Golden Key, Phi Theta Kappa, and SCLA).
