Peter McNamara

Peter is a data-driven technology industry sales productivity & operations optimization leader. Before joining Veritas as the VP of West Sales, he served as EVP of Worldwide Sales and Customer Operations for Baselayer Inc. In this role, Peter was charged with, and successfully accomplished, launching and growing the sales and customer operations functions of the firm.

In August 2018, Peter assumed a newly created role within Veritas as VP of Global Cloud Alliances & GTM Strategies to drive success through a focus on Cloud growth strategies. In this role, he is responsible for aligning the solution go to market and sales strategies for Cloud Alliance Partners AWS, MS Azure and Google to drive data management solutions leveraging the multi-cloud across Veritas industry and public sector customers. Through his career, Peter has leveraged his strengths and over two decades of experience to strategically develop and grow sales for numerous organizations. He was employed at F5 Networks, where he was successful in building and driving an enterprise global accounts program, inclusive of a highly effective direct field sales organization. Peter has held senior sales leadership positions for companies including Incipient, Symantec, and EMC.

Along with his wife Lisa, Peter is Co-Founder and Trustee of Liam’s Room, Inc. (www.liamsroom.org), a not-for-profit 501c(3) charitable foundation, which was started to honor their late son, Liam’s, legacy. Liam’s Room partners with hospitals to provide Pediatric Palliative Care rooms and services for the families of chronically and/or terminally ill children. Peter holds a Master’s Degree from New York University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Manhattanville College, Purchase, NY. He currently resides, with his wife and two boys, in Paradise Valley, AZ.
