Priya Nagpurkar

Priya Nagpurkar is the Vice President of Hybrid Cloud and AI Platform Research at I.B.M.’s T.J. Watson Research Center in New York. She leads a global team of distributed systems, programming models, and AI experts working on all interesting aspects of the cloud platform – from cloud-native AI and serverless computing to multicloud DevSecOps. Her team has worked on multiple influential open-source projects such as Istio, Knative, PyTorch and vLLM and contributed to several impactful IBM offerings, including OpenShift AI and watsonx.

Priya holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara and is passionate about making computing consumable.
