“Robert J. Makheja is a visionary leader and successful transformational entrepreneur whose experience spans across numerous industry endeavors, as well as being a leader in successful mergers and acquisitions among the largest Fortune 50 companies. He is highly recognized by the industry for leading large teams to solve complex customer problems, integrating large corporations and consistently exceeding business results.

Recently, Makheja was an integral part in leading the merger of HPE Software with Micro Focus International (IPO NYSE MFGP Sept. 2017, LSE MFGP.L) for $8.8B, to become the 7th largest pure play software company globally. In 2018, he became the President of MFGS, Inc., a private firm providing end-to-end Micro Focus solutions in Enterprise DevOps, Hybrid IT, Security Risk & Governance, and Predictive Analytics, such as ArcSight, Fortify, NetIQ, Vertica, Voltage, Mercury Interactive, Service Manager, IDOL, Load Runner, Serena, and COBOL, to the U.S. Federal Government, with half a billion dollars in software revenues and employees nationwide.

Makheja is also the Co-Founder of the private equity firm, RJM Capital, a leading investment firm that owns and manages multiple asset classes, including infrastructure, technology, biosciences, real estate and credit. He is also a Managing Partner at RJM and Associates, a premier legal advisory firm for business and tech. Makheja remains committed to philanthropic giving, activities, and mentoring programs globally through the Makheja family NEXTGEN charitable organization.

Early in his career, Makheja led in growing Peregrine Systems (NASD:PRGN) an enterprise software company based in California, and then was an integral part in the sale to Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ) for $425m. Prior to that, he was Vice President at Oracle Corporation where he was recognized for both his stellar performance and ethical standards, as well as other senior leadership positions at IBM, and Texas Instruments.

Makheja earned an Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering from The George Washington University. He later went on to graduate with a Doctorate of Law (J.D) and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), as well as other advanced education from Harvard Business School.”
