Maj. Scott R. McKeithen, Product Manager for DoD Health Analytics and Medical Service Corps Officer, Office of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer, Pentagon, D.C. Responsible for accelerating DoD’s adoption of Data Analytics and AI in respect to Healthcare. Health Solutions Architect and Capabilities Broker across the Joint Force as functional Subject Matter Expert in Healthcare Delivery. Originally, assigned to the JAIC in June 2020 as the first Artificial Intelligence Fellow sponsored by the AF Surgeon General. As a Product Manager, he was assigned to lead COVID Task Force, Total Force Fitness, and DoD Health Analytics efforts under Business Analytics to apply his skills to enhance readiness and advance AI products in combat medicine, medical readiness, and human performance. Maj. McKeithen currently oversees all Health Products on the Advancing Analytics (Advana) platform as it scales to be the single enterprise authoritative data management and analytics platform for the Secretary of Defense, Deputy Secretary of Defense, and Principal Staff Assistants (PSAs), with inputs from all DoD Components.
Maj. McKeithen began his career as an enlisted F-16 Avionics Apprentice in 2003 and was commissioned as a Healthcare Administrator in September 2011. Maj. McKeithen has served in various roles as both Active Duty Enlisted/Officer and Air National Guard Enlisted/Officer, with over 19 years of experience (7 years of civilian experience) in Health Informatics and IT Development leading 22 hospitals through “Big Bang” Electronic Health Record implementations. He is board-certified in Health Informatics as a CPHIMS (Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems) Fellow.
