Steven Hubbard serves as a Senior Innovation Architect and Advisor to FDA’s Chief Technology Officer and Director of Innovation. In this role, Mr. Hubbard leads innovation prototyping services and technology surveillance leveraging a lean start-up methodology. Additionally, he plays a pivotal role in the development and execution of the agency’s strategy for Research Computing, Innovation Services, and IT Strategic Plan. For the past three years, Mr. Hubbard has been dedicated to building FDAs internal innovation ecosystem and establishing and promoting an innovative and entrepreneurial culture while leveraging emerging technologies and concepts to advance the scientific and regulatory mission of FDA. Prior to joining FDA’s newly formed Office of Innovation, Mr. Hubbard served in a wide array of positions within FDA including the development, management, and oversight of FDA’s Collaboration Management Platform and FDA.gov.
