Vimesh Patel

Vimesh Patel serves as the Chief Technology Advisor (CTA), Federal at World Wide Technology (WWT).
In this role, Patel engages with federal government customers to identify and solve their most complex challenges, and develops and delivers innovative solutions that meet their needs and serve their mission.
Patel is a former Senior Executive who spent 21 years in the DoD supporting Counterterrorism and National Security missions within the Intelligence Community.
His extensive experience across both public and private sector runs throughout government, business, and commercial industries. Patel leverages his background to suit the unique nature of WWT to create wholistic strategies and programs.
His two decades of in-house service to the federal government allow him to clearly understand how federal agencies think and evaluate their problems. In communicating with his account teams, he is able to apply this practiced lens to better inform his workforce to create applicable solutions.
He serves as liaison between system integrators and software manufacturers, analyzing and determining the impact of the newest technology and how to harness it. Through direct engagement with his government customers, he seeks to understand their challenges and provide counsel on prospective solutions comparative to his experience in other industries and sectors, allowing him to provide the best proven solution to meet their needs and drive their mission.
During his career with the federal government, Patel served as the Deputy Director for Data Strategy and Innovation at the National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC), where he was responsible for the lifecycle of data assets at the National Counter-terrorism Center including acquisition, analysis, and integration as well as data policy, regulatory, and compliance matters.
Prior to joining WWT, he was Vice President for Technology for Decision Lab, where he was leading and providing big data infrastructure and analytic solutions for clients in sectors such as finance, healthcare, marketing, and government.
