The COVID-19 pandemic is forcing us to think outside traditional boundaries and collaborate in new ways. That’s why ACT-IAC, MeriTalk, and the Partnership for Public Service are joining forces on Resilient. This one-of-kind, integrated program establishes a platform to provide recommendations on the shape of government going forward. The goal is to create a broader platform to deliver more value and bring diverse perspectives to drive forward-thinking solutions.
This public-private collaboration will produce recommendations at the intersection of IT and human capital in a post-COVID world. With innovation, security, technology, and workforce workstreams, this initiative will explore:
- How do we adapt?
- How do we prepare for the future?
- What lessons have we learned?
- What innovation, security, technology, and workforce changes need to take place to move government forward – beyond disaster response?
- How does government help America become more resilient?
Research
The COVID-19 pandemic changed how and where Federal government agencies work – upending agency operations and amplifying the urgent need to modernize legacy systems and redesign platforms and processes for future resiliency.
As part of the Resilient program we surveyed 300 Federal IT executives and mission owners to understand their priorities, mission objectives, and pain points. Learn more: https://meritalk.com/study/resilient-government/
