Cyber Spring Madness: May 26, 2016

The Obama Administration is driving cyber initiatives hard – and asking agencies to double down on existing security efforts – as it wraps up its final term. Pressure to improve detection and prevention against cyber-based threats to Federal systems and infrastructure is high. DHS’s cyber workload is increasing, the president has asked for more budget for cyber implementations, and CNAP and CSIP are reshaping agencies’ cyber priorities. Join MeriTalk’s Cyber Security Exchange for an off-the-record dialogue covering:

  • What new priorities are the easiest to tackle in the next six months?
  • Which current cyber programs are struggling? Are the EINSTEIN and NCPS critics right?
  • How can agencies address the CSIP requirements effectively? Is more or less guidance needed? Or just more money?
  • Importantly, how will success be measured?
