The State of Cloud-Native Security
The State of Cloud-Native Security

In government, the pace of cloud adoption is accelerating and bringing with it countless new challenges in application development and cybersecurity. Across industries, 80% say their cloud infrastructure is evolving. Production code is being delivered at warp speed and security struggles to keep pace in a world where developers outnumber security professionals by a rate of ten to one. The cloud is requiring disparate teams to unite around a common goal.

So how is cybersecurity evolving in a cloud-native world? Palo Alto Networks conducted its annual multi-industry survey to discover how agencies are choosing and operationalizing security tools. Security is shifting further left as vulnerabilities occurring early in the application development lifecycle remain a top concern, but still more than 75% of respondents said their organization struggles to identify which security tools can help them meet their needs.

View the report to learn the evolving security practices, tools, and technologies that organizations around the world are employing to take advantage of cloud services and new application tech stacks.
