The FBI announced it has made 95 awards under its Information Technology Supplies and Support Services 2nd Generation (ITSSS-2) blanket purchase agreement worth an estimated $8 billion, making it the largest IT contract vehicle ever established by the FBI.

In a notice posted to SAM.gov on Friday, the FBI said that of the 95 awardees, 31 are large businesses and 64 are small businesses. However, the notice does not include the names of the winners.

The ITSSS-2 is the follow-up vehicle to the ITSSS contract, in which the FBI said it invested over $2 billion for IT services.

“ITSSS-2 will be the primary contract vehicle for the FBI to obtain critical IT service needs for the next eight years,” the May 24 notice says. “In the spirit of continued collaboration with the Department of Justice (DoJ), ITSSS-2 will also be available for use by all DoJ components.”

The procurement section team within the FBI’s Finance and Facilities Division said it will establish a resource portal to help FBI customers with their requirements packages. It will also set up a forecasting tool to help identify upcoming requirements to help ITSSS-2 vendors plan their proposals.

“Over these next few weeks, the procurement team will be having informational sessions to share with all stakeholders,” the notice adds. “We look forward to the continued collaboration with both our division partners and our industry partners.”
