Pentagon, Federal civilian, and private sector experts are set to discuss the latest looks on data hygiene and Federal government compliance requirements at MeriTalk’s “Digital Hygiene: Tips for Ensuring Data Security Compliance” webinar on May 6 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. EDT.

The complimentary webinar will provide practical and actionable advice on what Federal and private sector officials need to know about data security compliance and the stringent cyber hygiene standards necessary to protect critical data.

Helping to lead the discussion on May 6 will be Buddy Dees, Director of the Defense Department’s (DoD) Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program, which operates within the Pentagon’s Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and is creating and enforcing cybersecurity standards up and down the defense industrial base (DIB) supply chain.

Joining Dees will be Boyden Rohner, associate director for vulnerability management at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), who helps critical infrastructure operators identify security vulnerabilities, and make data-driven decisions to reduce them. Rohner has extensive experience at CISA and its predecessor operations within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and on the White House National Security Council staff.

Also driving the discussion will be Stuart Itkin, who is vice president of CMMC and FedRAMP Assurance at Coalfire Federal, and Kirk Kern, CTO Americas and director of the Office of Technology and Strategy at NetApp. Both have been leading the way for years in the business of data security and protection, and operate on the leading edge of Federal risk reduction and data compliance requirements.

With the Biden administration on the cusp of issuing its expected far-reaching executive order on cybersecurity, the art and science of data protection is at the very center of the imperative to take the next leap forward in security and data protection.

Please join us for the complimentary “Digital Hygiene: Tips for Ensuring Data Security Compliance” webinar on May 6 to help put yourself in the best position to benefit from our experts’ advice.
