Have you ever wanted a front-row view of the entire sweep of the Federal information technology ecosystem? From the emerging technology labs of Silicon Valley, to the household-name companies that underpin modern tech, to the most innovative government leaders who are putting the latest emerging tech to work in their environments?

And understand how it all fits together?  And envision a better path for your organization within it?

If so, then mark your calendar for April 23 for the GDIT Emerge 2019 event at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington D.C., and join GDIT as the company lays out its partner ecosystem from end to end, and shows you how you can take advantage of it.

“It’s the first time we are doing a large technology conference,” explains Yogesh Khanna, GDIT’s chief technology officer, “and the first time we are bringing the entire ecosystem together.”

“It’s a pivotal moment in our new life,” he says, “where we will showcase the art of the possible. Government faces impossible challenges – but with the power of emerging tech and collaboration among the public and private sectors, we can overcome them.”

Illuminating the ecosystem will be keynotes from the cream of Federal IT leadership representing each of the three pillars of government operations:

Defense – Pentagon CIO Dana Deasy, who is expected to discuss emerging technologies including artificial intelligence and machine learning, cloud adoption and migration, and how industry and government cooperation can solve the Defense Department’s toughest challenges;

Civilian – Federal CIO Suzette Kent, whose office is changing the Federal IT modernization game by developing new policies on AI, cloud, Federal workforce, cybersecurity, and federal data strategy; and

Intelligence – Dawn Meyerriecks, deputy director of science and technology at the Central Intelligence Agency, who will address how agencies can most effectively evaluate and leverage emerging technologies.

GDIT’s Khanna says the conference will underscore three fundamental keys to success in the Federal IT ecosystem:  expert mission knowledge, partnerships with vendors and customers, and the scale to quickly create solutions to complex problems – shortening the time “from flash to bang.”

“There is no way that even a company of our size can bring the best ideas to the table on our own,” he says.

That’s an invitation to see how your organization can benefit from GDIT’s ecosystem for both the established and the emerging technologies that we know about – AI, machine learning, data science, cybersecurity – plus the ones that are just coming off the drawing board.

“We are bringing Silicon Valley, and everything in between, to Washington and the Federal government,” GDIT’s Khanna promises, “not only to better understand the cutting edge of technology development, but to map them to the mission needs of the customers we serve.”

GDIT Emerge will convene more than 1,000 tech leaders from across government and industry, and the program boasts more than 40 speakers. Register today to learn more about the art of the possible for government IT.
