The General Services Administration (GSA) has confirmed the appointment of Amy Haseltine as acting executive director of the Office of Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS).

Effective Jan. 17, 2021, Haseltine joined the IT Category (ITC) for a 120-day period as acting executive director, succeeding Tracey Malick, who had served as acting executive director of ETS since June 2020. Malick will resume her role of deputy executive director at ETS, according to an agency internal memo.

“I appreciate the leadership that Tracey has shown by stepping forward and applaud the progress she has driven on the EIS transition as well as other key initiatives,” ITC Assistant Commissioner Laura Stanton wrote in the memo.

Haseltine joined GSA in Oct. 2019 after serving at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as deputy CIO and executive director for Enterprise Services. Additionally, Haseltine’s time at HHS included serving as a senior policy adviser, deputy assistant secretary for the Office of Grants and Acquisition Policy and Accountability, and leading HHS’ DATA Act implementation. Prior to HHS, she served in roles at the Environmental Protection Agency for 18 years in Office of Environmental Information, Office of Administration, and Office of the CFO.

She currently serves as the director of GSA’s HR Quality Services Management Organization for Compensation/Works Schedule Leave Management and the NewPay PMO.
