GSA Awards Small Business Contract
The U.S. General Services Administration’s (GSA) Public Buildings Service awarded McGee Construction of Augusta, Maine, a $319,025 contract for snow removal services. McGee will provide the tools and tech for snow removal at the E.S. Muskie Federal Building in Augusta. The GSA’s contract was set aside for small businesses.
S&K Aerospace Lands Air Force Contract
The U.S. Air Force recently awarded a $4.2 million contract to S&K Aerospace, a technology company located in Warner Robins, Ga. Under this contract, S&K Aerospace will ship military parts from suppliers around the country to customers around the world. The contract includes a five-year base period plus a five-year option.
Mellanox to Update NIH’s Biowulf Data Center
The National Institutes of Health’s Center for Information Technology has selected Mellanox Technologies to update its Biowulf data center, the largest data center at NIH. Mellanox is providing the technology to allow for seamless integration with legacy computing resources.
