Cloudera Partners With Docker
Cloudera partnered with Docker to provide Commercially Supported Docker Engines, according to a press release issued Dec. 19. Federal agencies use the cryptographically secure Docker containers to share data; Cloudera will provide level one and level two technical support. The solution is based on Cloudera Navigator Encrypt running on Docker’s CS Engine.
CenturyLink Provides VoIP for Senate
CenturyLink recently won a $11.4 million contract to provide the U.S. Senate with a communications-as-a-service platform for hosted voice-over-Internet-protocol (VoIP) service. Under the contract, CenturyLink will install and manage the hardware, software, and training to provide VoIP service to more than 450 Senate offices in all 50 states.
