Mitre Taps Gary Gagnon to Lead Security

Mitre, a non-profit organization that manages federally funded research and development centers supporting several Federal agencies, has tapped Gary Gagnon to be both VP of cyber strategy and chief security officer. While these are new roles for Gagnon, he’s familiar with Mitre. He previously had a three-decade long career with the non-profit before leaving in 2016 to become the CISO for Inmarsat, a U.K-based satellite telecommunications company. His most recent position was CISO for Amazon.
