The Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) announced the appointment of 30 experts to serve on the Commerce Spectrum Management Advisory Committee (CSMAC) on April 18. “The committee provides advice on a range of spectrum policy and technical issues and is an important forum for developing recommendations aimed at strengthening U.S. global leadership in wireless technology services,” a press release explained. The new experts, all of whom come from the private sector, academia, industry groups, or think tanks, will serve two-year terms.
